Psyduck Artisan Keycap: Perfect Gift for Pokemon Lovers

Psyduck was undoubtedly one of the most memorable Pokemon of all time. Psyduck possesses enormous and strange strength, yet he is plagued by headaches all of the time. So we devised a plan to allow him to relax in the pool while wearing a hand float, which we attached to the Psyduck Artisan Keycap.

How did we make this cute yellow keycap?

The keycap design was first sketched up on paper with sizing for the SA profile artisan keycap and then turned into a 3D model. Then we make a mold and start to mix-match resin and color paint to find the best combination for our Pokemon keycaps. Because there were so many minute details and it required so much time, this was probably the most challenging and time-consuming task.

This cute handmade keycap captures the perfect yellow shade and the iconic confused expression that makes this platypus Pokemon famous. The rendition is both a challenge and a passion project for us as we’re all huge Psyduck-fanatics. While the keycaps are beautiful and exactly as shown in the picture, they have one major flaw: they fall off fairly easily. 9/10
