For richer color effects and a more vivid impression of thickness, our skilled artisans had to meticulously sharpen the wood before painting it in multiple layers.

As though viewing two Koi fish that have been preserved in amber, the wood fibers are visible through the resin on live-edge pieces.

After all, the "water" is hard to touch and will remain that way, creating the illusion of a scene frozen in time. Such a masterpiece!
